Vodacom denies lying, withholding information

In a heated discussion, Lewis referred to the competitiveness report that had been submitted by Vodacom to support the transaction as "blatant lies", and described how it contradicted internal documents that revealed that the logic behind the acquisition was to remove a service provider that offered customers attractive discounts.
Perhaps they shouldjust come clean and save us all a lot of time and money.

What is the worst that could happen if it is found that they did withhold info or lie?

Do they get some petty fine like Tiger Brands and co and a don't do it again slap on the wrist?
 
If it smells like poo, looks like poo and tastes like poo, I doubt you'd sell it as whipped chocolate mousse.
