VodaCom: EMail to MMS

I remember that you used to be able to send an MMS from a PC by emailing the content to a certain email address on VodaCom. Is this still available and what is the address?

I knew you could send a sms by sending an email to something like <number>@voda.co.za . . . this mms one sounds interesting though.

Perhaps try replying to the email address that the MMS comes from on your pc.

tried that and does not work at all so need to know the email address for mms...

You can always try and use the free MMS' you get on 4me.

Is this a permanent or had-hoc requirement?

If more than ad-hoc, I use a product, NowSMS, as a SMS/MMS/E-mail bi-directional gateway. Extremely powerful. Will use just about any phone as a SMS/MMS modem.

You can also SMS/MMS from a WEB front-end.

I'm probably one of the most prolific MMS users on the network, receive and send around 100 per day!

Use it mostly as part of a Home Automation system, quite nice to get multi-media feedback on what's going on around the house.

Very successful, but I'm sure most people send a few per day, max. For sure not 100+ per day!
