Vodacom Fibre ISP

I am maybe looking at getting a fibre package with Vodacom. The fibre provider is Openserve.

I just want to find out if anyone has used Vodacom as their ISP only and using example Vumatel/Openserve fibre.

The reviews online do not look great, but seems to be mostly customers who have Vodacom as the ISP as well as the fibre provider.
 
Vodacom is "persona non grata " concerning ISP.
WE were sweet talked to take VODACOM end of October, the Router arrived 2 weeks later and then until 29. November DEAD SILENCE. When phoned they indicated 2 weeks delay in installation and when nothing happened we started phoning and finally we wer told that VODACOM does not connecton EVOTEL Fibre.
Great service . Till today we have had NO COMMUNICATION....

I am very sorry to hear that you've been given the run around like this, but unfortunately Vodacom is not on Evotel's network. If you are covered by our network, we'll be happy to assist you with one of the ISPs on our network, so please do check your coverage here. https://my.evotel.co.za/Coverage

I feel just RAGE because these bastards are not even ciommunicating and we spent hours on the phone being shuffled from one person to the next.
The rmarkable thing is that one is unable to reach any higher management person at VODACOM . The complains buck stops at the call centre ......Interesting

I'm sorry to hear that this is the frustration it's become. I'm assuming you're outside of our coverage, but if you do find yourself in our coverage please feel free to reach out and we'll get you set up!
