Hi, I'm getting a Nokia G240W-E router with my fibre installation.
Can anybody tell me how to get this router into bridge mode so I can use it with my Ubiquiti router?
The manual seems to mention bridge mode when it comes to the leds on the router, but not how to set it up.
Or is there maybe so ubiquiti or tp-link product I can use instead of the nokia router?

Can you actually log in to the router? Vodacom locks the routers they give on Vodacom Fixed products. Even on Fixed LTE, the routers are locked, so if you want to do things like port forwarding, then you have to log it with [email protected] to request that they do it on the system and it gets pushed to the router.

I know about the login issue, that they give you temp access, but the access won't really help if I am not able to put the router into bridge mode, I know with the c models lan port 4 can be put into bridge mode, but can't find any info on the e models or in the e model manual.
Vodacom only doing the installation on friday...

You can plug your Ubiquiti router directly into the ONT and get rid of the Nokia router that Vodacom gave you. There's no need to keep it in bridge mode. Just get rid of it. Make sure you get the PPPOE username and password from Vodacom so you can put it into the Ubiquiti.

the nokia router is the ont and router all in one. vodacom doesn't install an ont.

I got it right to put the nokia router into bridge mode but when I put in the pppoe details on my edgerouter theres no internet at all... I suspect the login details is not correct vodacom sent me.

Can you advise how you did it?

I am trying to reflash it cant find a proper guide to show me how.

Sorry to hijack but I’m hoping for some assistance on this too.
I have a Unifi UDM-SE with port forwarding over Vodacom Fibre for Hikvision CCTV.
I now have a LTE-PRO for failover and Port Forwarding can’t be set on the Unifi LTE-PRO.
Any workaround or how do I do away with Port Forwarding for the CCTV to be accessed outside of the network?

Any reason you're not using the Unifi VPN options available on the SE? Teleport or Wireguard are simple to get up and running

We are planning to put everything behind the VPN.
CCTV supplier has a long relationship with the mutual client. He insists Port Forwarding is safe.
With two device exceptions, over 800 attempts have been blocked to gain access through the NVR (Hikvision)
