Vodacom Gaming?

Apologies if there is already a VGS thread.

My question is a simple one, why do Vodacom customers have to use cap when
playing on servers hosted on the Vodacom network?

To put this in perspective Web Africa has launched a gaming service where
Web-Africa clients use no cap when gaming in this network.

This would actually be a really cool idea but it would never fly.

They are so about revenue its sickening. Was at a meeting with some senior Vodacom staff last year about an application of mine they where using in their one callcenter. Every feature was analysed on how it effected revenue stream.

App was used to assist with unsubscribing from certain WASP services.

Yeah, I saw that about Web Africa. Very cool idea!!

Wonder how long it will take the rest of the ISP's to follow suite? Then Vodacom might just have to fall in line.
