VODACOM help

If we make it too simple, people complain that there's not enough info, if we add to much, it's too complicated...

I hear you and honestly i wouldnt see adding too much info as being confusing, more helpful infact. I just think there is too much info for too little space. Just an idea, but maybe adding a side bar to allow for more options instead of cramming them in the 6 options that is currently up as this would create problems where things are put under the wrong options because there is no where else to put it.

Downloads and such ( especially drivers ) should be in support cos when i think of drivers when looking on the site i wouldnt exactly have "about vodacom" springing to mind as an option to look at. Also coverage... i wouldnt think of looking in packages ( packages states exactly that, nothing more, nothing less).

Im sure you get the idea :D

Edit: Oh and you can have a simple yet informative site.... makes it user friendly. Those who thinks its too simple is just being too difficult :D

@ic Can you or whoever knows put something in the FAQ on how to put together data packages, how to and when to. On the Forum there has been several suggestions on how to put packages together. There are Top-ups, Bolt-on's etc. The browse packages under packages have several packages. So what can you add onto what?. There are several ways that packages can be optomised.?? Advice please.

Ok I get it, it depends on your needs.
My needs are:-
Option 1
1) 3G/HSDPA Modem for free.
2) Smallest starting package with lowest oobr.
3) Lowest cost addon I can use when reaching oob, untill the end of the billing Month (whenever that is).

Option 2
1) 3G/HSDPA own Modem.
2) Smallest starting package with lowest oobr.
3) Lowest cost addon I can use when reaching oob, untill the end of the billing Month (whenever that is).

This is what happened to me. As elsewhere said in this thread. I landed up with 3 links pointing to 3 seperate download pages! and it got me into trouble on the Forum.

How boring would it be if everything was perfect. Ask questions even if it sounds silly because to the person asking it, doesn't know or understand.

We do get the message that it is being corrected. Thanks. (Soon)

Thanks.
Do you get contract sims that are not data enabled?

How do I know if a card is already data enabled? :o

I think you do, particularly if its older, not quite sure what standard procedure. Easiest way is to see if you can browse the net on your phone. If you can't then you need to contact your SP to get it data enabled and then you can load a bundle at the same time.
