Vodacom I hate you !!

Oh, you noticed? There's a lot I would like to see changed, but us little-fish-in-the-stores don't get to make the rules, sadly. Sorry for your loss, but the word scum just got to me, since you played a part in the problem. Ask for the email address of a customer liason officer in your area(something like that) or a sup at 155 and tell the how you feel. The call centre agent can't do much.

Call the other person, if they're kind they can call the call centre & ask for the funds from their accout to be transfered to you.
That is if they are not as reluctant to do effort as you are to be proactive.
Personally i am glad that vodacom won't access their account & move the data. Imagine if they accessed everyone's accounts & transfered at request??? You will find that people ''sponge'' off others & never pay for their own calls.

Thanks for keeping our funds safe vodacom, even if there are other hick-ups at times.

;) At least you are passionate about where you work.

But Venom surely they can see that marine1 paid for the bundle and thus know that it was an error? of course if I call and say some random number got my bundle they can see I didn't pay for that bundle and know I am lying.

it's prepaid.......

They don't keep track of your prepaid sim & banking details...

Also if they access my account without my permission i would be mad. It's about client confidentiality.

If?i was the one that recieved the money then i would rather go through the shlep of phoning them to sort out someone else's problem than let them access my account at their instruction.

The system we work on works. We don't need to call for support every 5 minutes, like some other cellular companies. If you log a call, you should receive feedback within 24 hours. There’s just some battles you cannot win, but there tend to be a reason for it. And fyi, I’ve never hidden the fact that I work for Vodacom.

I can vouch for this. :)

Ok so I made a mistake, I purchased a bundle of R189 data and by mistake entered one digit wrong at the end.
I called VodaSCUM and they refuse to reverse it.

FFS I hate the way things work in this place.
You make a mistake and they could care less

Don't jump on me for asking this, did you use USSD, IB, VC website, voucher, or voodoo? (curious about the purchase method you used)

IB well there's your problem.

AFAIK all of the banks have a IB disclaimer saying they will not correct any mistake that you might make with the prepaid/topup cell number.

Does the cell number you entered exist? (try calling that number) if it exists you have donated a bundle to some random person.

I really think everyone is missing the point, Marine1 clearly said he made a mistake and knows he is at fault, the point is that it seems as if VC do not care.

Than you D3x ;)
Do people not read? I know its my fault.

I guess I failed to read your replies, enjoy the company of patience while you wait for me to get a clue, what happens when you call the number you entered in Nedbanks IB?

Does the cell number you entered exist? (try calling that number) if it exists you have donated a bundle to some random person.

When you decide to call that number and confirm it does not exist, your next call should be to VC 155 to get an incident number for the bundle you bought (do not tell them the number does not exist and insist that you bought a bundle for that number, refuse to accept that the number does not exist).

This will confuse the hell out of the call center person but you only want an incident number to initiate an investigation by the next level support to find your missing bundle.
