Vodacom LTE activation requests

Ockie I called Vodacom yesterday to activate my VoLTE but the person was having issues with the system and said he would call me back once he has restarted his system to try again.

He never called back, do you think you'd be able to help me please?

I can have a look for you. mail me the number. You are aware of the requirements that the phone must meet for Volte and vowifi to work I assume.

Yes sir, I was an official beta tester of the Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE on the S6 from August last year up until I sold the phone.

LTE should be working now. Having a problem with volte. What phone are u using now. On my system it comes up as "unkown" ?

Done. Reboot and test.

Volte and vowifi should work now also. - Note there was a software update pushed a few days ago to enable volte and vowifi. You must have first have installed this update for it to work.

Hi Ockie. My vowifi stopped working on both my devices about 2 weeks ago. Was perfect until then. iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 7. I’ve sent you an email. Please assist as I need the vowifi next week while I’m traveling overseas

I have no LTE coverage on My Samsung s6
I was moved from Contract to Prepaid on the 31/07/2017
Just a further note, I called Vodacom on numerous occasions, I received the SMS confirmations for the LTE activation, I was told that the Sim is now activated for LTE, after several reboots and removals of the sim card, still no LTE

I dropped you an email as well

Hi. OK, there were like 4 different orders on your line for today, but none of them were actually submitted by the people that were helping you. I cancelled those, removed ALL LTE services from your line, waited for it to complete, did a new order and reactivated everything for you.

Reboot and test please.
