Why not compatible? Because of frequencies?

I am sure that the E3276 will work, it does see the Vodacom LTE network. Mine does, at least, as does my E398.

Excellent news very excited that Vodacom has come to the table will definitely now purchase the data promo deal 2gig x 12 = R1499, just need to find a device that is compatible cause I also have the E3276 modem.

It depends how strictly they adhere to their list of supported devices.

They have always had those lists, even for 3G, but it never disqualified compatible devices.

The E3276 is definitely compatible.

Anyway, will be able to confirm in a few days..

...but as far as I know they didn't automatically activate you 3G or HSDPA, or HSPA+ based on your device.

Thanks.

I've popped an active Vodacom SIM into my Huawei E3276 and so far nothing has happened, no SMS or anything.
The dashboard isn't showing LTE, maybe I have to do this activation process in an area with LTE coverage?

I'm in an LTE area an my prepaid sim in an iPhone is not giving me LTE either. My contract is though.

Maybe, they still rolling it out.

The launch has apparently been delayed due to technical issues.

Yeah, happened to me yesterday. iPhone kept switching to no service. Only a reboot would allow signal pick up again.

Currently it seems as if it only wants to send through the LTE signal anything short of that was a no go.
