I got a Vodacom LTE sim last month. Speeds are great and when it works it works great.
What is up with the random loss of internet though, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes more? I still have full bars on my router when this happens. It doesn't happen often, or I'm not online at home enough to notice it. Usually happens late at night.
I've been using Telkom LTE for 6 years and have never had such issues. Still have it and am using it now to post this thread. Is Vodacom LTE just not reliable?
Whenever this happens I wait a few minutes for it to come back on. Usually it does but when it doesn't I just switch to my Telkom sim. It is getting annoying.
My router software also still shows that I'm connected to Vodacom LTE with full signal when this happens. Except no internet at all. It's off for about 30 minutes now.
