Cape Town, Bellville. MTN full signal and working fine. Just called 808 (MTNSP) and 173 (MTN)

Did we ever have this when he was in charge? I left MTN to come to the better network seems it was a grave mistake
I dont think this is MTN, this seems to be Vodacom, was just with some people all their MTN sims working perfect
 
OH and Jannie. We will be sending Vodacom a bill for our staffs trauma counceling. They are in tears with people crapping all over them. The fact that there are lines of people in our stores for RICA is also not helping. This is a double whammy never seen before! Why today of all bloody days!
 
Ockiemoto, the networks got hacked by a person who's does't want to be RICA'd but also don't want to be blocked.

This problem has never happened before afaik and is serious.

I was also thinking about how evil I felt AKC was, especially when he was brown nosing Poison Ivy. Make me sick :sick: I feel he set us back more than forward at his shareholders gain.

Still without network, message on phone still saying sim rejected since 13:00. Patience is wearing thin and I swear if I have to buy another SIM...
 
Its all a ploy by Vodacom to stop us using our last day (of the month) minutes and megs that's expiring.
 
Funny thing is everybody around can't make or receive calls or have no data service. But me on the other hand with my Blackberry can make calls and surf the net, not problem.
 
I couldn't send SMSs since ~1pm and after I restarted my phone I didn't even have signal. A manual search for SPs shows Vodacom, MTN, CellC and SA02 (assume that is 8Ta) but I get a "rejection" message if I try Vodacom. Everyone using Blackberries on Vodacom in my environment has full signal and functionality.... I am in Stellenbosch BTW.

The lady at Vodacom shop said that some system has crashed due to RICA overload. Not sure if this is concrete but it does seem plausible...
