biometrics said:When your guys came to do tests last week they were downloading at speeds of over 100 K Bytes per second (way over 384 K bits per second) from smtp.vodacom.co.za to my house. Saw this with my own eyes. They said that 384 Kbps is the quality of service and that the cell will burst when there is capacity available.
I was a bit stunned by this and asked them to confirm this info which they did.
Something to do with the cell "breathing" (expanding it's range by increasing transmission power), they explained.
Not sure I understood completely, can you confirm/explain?
