Vodacom Network Time

Everyone on Vodacom was late for a conference call at work this morning... this is bad
 
Mine also seems to be fixed. Disabled Clocksync auto sync and set my time setting to auto again. Clocksync is showing a -2.129 difference.
 
Mine is still wrong - setting to auto immediately sets the time forward by 3 minutes. I rebooted the phone and tried again, same thing.

Maybe it's location dependent. The east coast may be ahead of the west coast. ;-)
 
If you have GPS active on the phone, is it not better for the phone to sync with GPS instead of the network time?

There are apps you can get to sync android time with GPS, but the phone needs to be rooted.
 
Mine is also out by 3 minutes, was driving me crazy until I found this thread. A consultant on the online chat told me to put it onto manual which obviously doesn't fix the issue, then told me to take it in to a technician. Wonder if I'll be able to find that same consultant and tell him to open his eyes to this thread...
 
Change your OS to other than Android to avoid this NTZ issue!:D

Mine is working fine. I check every now and again that my clock is still ok by comparing it to Clocksync. It is on network time only now and it if between 1 and 2 seconds out only. I would have thought that all towers use the same time server. Is this not the case seeing that some people still seem to suffer from this issue?

Mine now 2 minutes fast. Strange as well how it seems to very - sometimes ahead, sometimes behind.
 
Mine is a minute behind. It's been driving me crazy so I set it manually using clock sync. After a while I went back to automatic and it worked fine but checked this morning and it's a minute behind again.
