Vodacom speed test (speed.vodacom.co.za) not loading

Hi ginggs. Thanks for trying to help.

Browser is IE 7.0.5730.13 and Java installed is 1.6.0_17. I do not know where/how to check for Java VM.

You can test your Java installation here.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.3.

Edit: Sorry, Vodacom's speed test uses Adobe Flash not Java.
You can check your Flash installation here.

I was not sure which version of Flash Player was installed, so I downloaded the latest - 10.0.45.2. Restarted my computer after this, but still no speedtest.

Have you tried with Firefox?

Vodacom's speed test only works if you are on the Vodacom network, what are your IP addresses when attempting the speed test?

No luck with Firefox 3.6.3. I am on the Vodacom network, as I connect with a Vodacom SIM?

The Flash test page linked to above uses Flash to display your version number (like so), if you aren't seeing this then you have a problem with your Flash installation.
ipconfig /all indicates an IP address of 41.17.157.238
Perhaps VD can check if there's a reason your IP is unable to access the speed test.

The Flash test page did report the version number as in your image, I just presented it with dots instead of commas (as in the bottom of the url you supplied).

I ran the speedtest just after typing the above - and it worked! Someone must have fixed something somewhere...... Thank you to ginggs (and someone).
