Sorry but good riddance, every time I heard her speak, I got the impression she was lying. Maybe thats just the way the job is.
Maybe it was just Vodacom telling lies and her job was to lay it out for the public.

Well "Vodafone South Africa" err Vodacom is restructuring last i checked , i expect a few of these to happen in the coming time....this is what happens when an international enterprise takes over a company , right ?
Vodafone got 65% ownership now, that generally means they'll want 65% of the management team "adjusted" too

What is really sad is that one never hears the truth about these things -- all nicely covered up and brushed under the carpet.

Perhaps we need to look out for next months isssue of NOSEWEEK

I thought the same, but then maybe the article is not clear on this. She resigned, but it doesn't mention a notice period - unless leave was owing, in which case notice is sometimes waived.

Lovely woman , met her once many years ago when my wife worked for the media company dealing with Vodacom. Its sad 2 good people left Vodacom back to back in Jannie Van Zyl and Dot Field.
