What's pointless to you may not be pointless to others. You're free to leave this post or put me on ignore or whatever pleases you. No one is forcing you to be here ...

It might not have occurred to you, Capn, that part of social living includes respecting the property of others. MyBB's owners have developed a set of rules, policies, practices and traditions that in their view best serve the user community and ends they wish to achieve.

You just walked into someone's house, farted loudly, and when others raise an eyebrow, ask what happened to free speech.

It would be an entirely different matter if you were answering some question, solving a specific problem, and so on. But you are not.

Reviving an ancient thread as part of your consumer rights crusade does not solve any problem for any user. It adds no value to anyone.

That is why people are somewhat surprised at your retort.

My take with the reading of those earlier posts is that those issues are the same frustrations I and thousands of other users are still experiencing today. This proves that in the past 5 years this issue was not resolved with the MNO's and was allowed to die a quite death. If you and me and the thousands of others are going to sit with folded arms, the elephant will still be in the room in 5 years time. Nowhere on the threads are mention made and users educated of the remedies available under CPA and I only used the older posts to prove to some hotheads in this forum that I'm not the only one aghast at this practice of bundle expiry.

I'm sorry if I've unwittingly broken some rules, but I always try to break out from my comfort zone and rattle some cages. Only sheep follow the pack without question.

I acknowledge we have differing views on data expiry and I respect that, but allow others to make up their own minds and to communicate their views.

Fair enough. We understand. By all means crusade - fully support your right to do so. And welcome any and all attempts to educate people about their rights.

Technically correct, I volunteered (which incidentally also precludes me from also putting you (or anyone else for that matter) on ignore).

When you resurrect a thread please do so by adding value to it.

This post adds value to the thread, if you resurrected this thread using the above from the get-go I cannot see how anyone would've complained.
