Vodacom utterly crap network last 2 months

After 24hrs testing I can confirm that the app works 100% and that I'm permanently locked onto LTE and VOLTE :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

The only issue is with ussd requests for airtime balances etc. That doesn't work. Just simply change it back to they way it was while you request and than put the app back onto LTE only when you're done :cool::p.
 
I have been struggling with Vodacom for a bit now. But mine is due to the fact that our coverage by the house is dodge. Phone keeps jumping from 4G to 3G, and in that process Volte keeps turning on and off. Calls drops a lot. What I had done was downloaded a app called "ForceLTE". My phone now clings to 4G like dried crap to a towel. Signal is very weak, but stragely my data connection (use phone as hotspot for working from home) and call quality on Volte even with such low signal is good and very usable.

Have exactly the same issue. My indoor 4G is horrible 1 bar normally and 3G 4bars yet my phone will jump between them constantly and drain the battery faster and not ring sometimes or drop calls. Set it to 3G only and occasionally calls still go to voicemail or stutter during a call yet signal strength is pretty good? It really has gotten worse in the last 2 years. Turned on VoWifi and helps a little.

Why not use the Vodacom App to check balances? It works great.
