Vodacom website frustrates subscribers

It's pathetic, especially considering the resources at Vodacom's disposal. I bought a once-off data bundle from the new site during May (the 4me site was down), it wasn't depleted at the end of the month but the exact same bundle was reactivated at the beginning of this month. I can now cancel it before it happens again next month but get no choice of refund on the current bundle. So I've lost the remaining data on May's bundle and I'm now forced to pay for this one. Amateur hour.

I dont like the new web site either - and the old vodacom4me often has error messages. When you reload a few times it seems to come right...

I suggest a new design team...
 
Somebody finally complained. You would think that for such a big company they would have some competence regarding their web site.. Look at google.com or facebook Vodacom. Quick loading clean pages. And you implement such a site in South Africa where it needs to play catch-up with the rest of the world.

If this is what "straightforward" is heaven help us if they try to develop something with even a tinly ittle twist...

Basically ... they've gone and upgraded all the broken stuff ... so it's still broken - just better at not working. And it's had issues for a while now - usually (about 75% of the time) when I try and check my usage, the system is broken. Which means that sometimes (like last month), I exceed my data-bundle without knowing it, and I now end up paying extra. Method in your madness VC? I keep clicking refresh when it happens, because I know it generates error reports - and it probably annoys them. Well ... guess what? I'm annoyed too.

My biggest gripe is (and Telkom's been doing this too) ... what the hell is with all these damn Flash sites. And Vodacom makes the biggest mistake of all - Flash 10. Any idea how frigging annoying upgrading Flash is these days. Anything past 8 is a royal pain in the butt. Stick to ASPX, PHP, HTML, whatever ... it bloody works.
