They didn´t work for me...
I read somewhere that you might have to change the card mode from "install" to "modem"... but that should be done in "truinstall"... and I don´t have it in the control panel..
Also read that there is a value in the registry that I can modify to change the mode... But I cant find the value !!

i do have the problem same as you.
--sierra mc8755 ( not sure lock or not lock , dc locker cant detect the card)
--installation by using the ibm / lenove driver , after showing the mc8755 in the usb device , and other serial port and other.
the reason may be below ,
1. this card may be work only in IBM with own sofware. somethint call think access , you can go ibmforum to read about mc8755 , there is few post there.
2. i got mc8775 , hp2300 , mc5725 , mc8781 , all the modem device is shown in the modem but not USB device , unless we change to mc8755 as a modem in the device manager , 3g watcher may can recognise.
3. or finding any telcom or celcom company who using mc8755 with own dialler , i do find vodaxxx got , pls google it and try , so sorry , i got work on hand.
