All other Website open with the exception of Vodacom4Me.
In the past three days I have not been able to open Vodacom4Me intermitantly resulting in problem to use pop3 to my Email client. Called 155 on two occasions, receive a call from "Advanced Data" who could not supply a credible reason for this problem. AT PRESENT DATE&TIME 2009-04-08 @ 08h37 This is the problem replicated. Vodacom what are you trying to hide.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

No problems what so ever that I've experience with Vodacom4me within the last week. Might be related to certain accounts/numbers.

Can't you get to the 4me logic page?

You are not alone. Been intermittent for me for, oh... about 2 years. Getting a balance is sometimes a 3 day wait. I end up just sending "mm" to 31050. I couldn't get onto V4me from 1st of this month until the 6th. I accept this as normal now.

Yes the Login Page.
I Rx a call from "Alister" of Vodacom states: I must load FireFox as a process of elimination because the IE 8 might not be updating it's security certificates.

My response = NO because of the following reasons;
1) IE 8 opens all other sites with rich java and flash content - then updates the "security certificates" perfectly.
2) Why does my MsOutlook Email Client have problems in syncronising with pop3 when the V4me login fails to open - This is not related to updating IE8 "security certificates".
3) Why has this problem only surfaced since 5 April 2009 - surely not because IE8 not updating "security certificates" since 5 April.

Vodacom your system has a problem - Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

2) Why does my MsOutlook Email Client have problems in syncronising with pop3 when the V4me login fails to open - This is not related to updating IE8 "security certificates".

I'm battling to see the correlation between HTTP failures in one app, causing POP3 failures in another? Can you explain more?

Surely if 2 different applications have failures at the same time, you should look at a common cause?

Yes when my Email Client shows POP3 sync errors " Cannot contact POP3 if persits then contact your ISP" then I look if access is available via V4Me and this results in "Cannot Open Web Page", then I try to open any other Website with and is always sucsesfull.

My statement again " This problem only surfaced after 5 April 2009".

So what is your prognosis as a common cause?

Vodacom now has all the facts and this my final comment on this matter,if not resolved I WILL take this to another level failing that it only remains me cancel my contract with Vodacom via my attorney.

V3g thanks for the assistance.

No problem, I don't know much about IP but I'd still be inclined to think that if two DIFFERENT applications on my PC both have connectivity problems then the problem is somewhere common, like the network or the PC.

But I've never heard of a one WEB site affecting e-mail on another one.

But let's leave this with your attorney, maybe he knows more about web sites and mail servers than the rest of us.

Thread closed to give Proseal's attorney the opportunity to solve all of Proseal's browsing v4me and pop3 problems.
