Vodacom's bad service

I'm having really bad service from vodacom.My vodacom e-mail was deactivated with this i called them on friday evening to have it deactivated(waited for 45 min to call me back) they had problems with this ,the lady told me she will have a techie to call me back its now sunday evening and no one has called me back.How long do have to wait for someone to call me back.Really getting fedup with them.

I haven't gotten any callbacks for the callback I left on Friday.

I suggest log your bad service complaint on HelloPeter, www.hellopeter.com.

They normally come back quite quickly from that.

Vodacom bad service

So i called vodacom again and gave them my ref no and ask why have no techie called me back the lady told me that my problem regarding my e mail is in pending.I nearly blew my top.How damm long must i wait just to have my e-mail service just re activated.Its now 3 day and counting.

I think sometimes the problem with bad service is the customer not acting correctly. Blowing your top is going to get you no where..I'm sure you realise that?

It's bloody rediculous that your email has not been re-activated. Have you tried calling the call center and very calmly asked to speak to a person in charge? I find it best to send emails to the support center (I realise at this time your email is down, but perhaps from a hotmail account?)

I had a similar problem with telkom. My email wouldn't send on ADSL, but worked fine on dial up (ie a problem on their side, not on my computer). It turned out I knew more than the call-center did. What do you do?

Sorry spamhater. Try stay calm, speak as nicely as possible to the call center people and hopefully things will be resolved soon.

hellopeter.com is FULL of complaints about Vodacom service. Someone on there made an interesting observation. The heaviest advertisers on TV are the companies that DON'T respond properly on hellopeter.

On several occasions I have heard people getting resolution on their problems when they went the HelloPeter route.
At this stage all other supposed / suggested / proposed paths have failed, telephone, e-mail, website, etc.

I suggest you get Gmail . [Google Mail]. It's free, you get 2.5GB space and it works through Pop3/smtp if you want to read email in outlook...oh and all the other google features which integrate with the email account [google talk/personal home etc etc].

Heck you can even auto-forward your mail from gmail to another email, so also useful as a buffer-account .

Just got a sms from vodacom to let me
know that my e-mail is activated.I went on line to see if it work.Well with no problems even try'd it on my nokia 6680 and it connects.Im one happy customer now.

Yep, I second, third and fourth that, use a GMail account instead of an account that ties you to an ISP-specific email address...

Their service sucks big time. I was struggling today for an hour to get someone to assist me to sort out a phone that was booked in at there vodacare shop in kolenade on the 22 feb 2008. Tho nobody contacted me back after sipho at help desk said he will phone me back in 2hours time.
Did they grow so big that nobody cares no more?????????
Does it take 4 months to repair a nokia that was recieved on contract in November 2007??????
if anybody had the same problem could they please pm me on how you solved it.
