Am i speaking to a brickwall with vodacoms call center ? I told them my vlive apn isnt working yet they send me internet settings ! Who can i speak to about this ? My vlive apn is officially dead !

The Vodacon selfhelp website is not helping much either. Just says if you have a V(un)live!:eek: enabled handset, it will connect within 24 hours after a successful call. Bull! I've been making successful calls since I got the phone almost 6 months ago!
The proxy, port & IP has changed and unless you're part of the Illuminati, Freemasons or Big Brother or some similar "elite" underground :cool: group, nobody can supply you with any information - just says the handset will connect automatically.
...or maybe nobody knows the settings... :rolleyes:

Call 155 maybe they can help.i tried and it didnt help much ! We need technical support for vodafone users at myadsl ! I bet they out having lunch.

Have you asked that they check if the VLive apn is configured on your profile (i.e. provisioned)?

If it is, can you get another vlive user and swap sims?, i.e. try your sim in his handset and his sim in yours.

nitro, you either need to do some basic fault finding or take your handset in to a walk-in center so someone can look at your phone.

It's near impossible to fix this problem if you keep on saying it used to work and now it does not anymore. You need to approach this from a methodical viewpoint.

First make sure your handset is configured properly. Easiest way to test is with someone else's sim.

Are you 1000% sure you did not download something that could have created new settings, i.e. ringtomes, etc. from another SP. Did ANYTHING AT ALL change since Friday?

What handset is this?
 
I tried what you said vodacom3g.its not my handset.its a v360v.it must be the sim.ill call and see if i am provisioned for vlive.
 
My vlive apn is active but i dont get a connection.i spoke to a tech when i dialled 155 and he said my vlive is active.i think theres something wrong as theres no connection to vlive.i still dont have access to vlive.its not connecting to vlive and thats the problem

Please take your phone to a Vodashop / Vodacare and ask them to have a look.

Maybe something is wrong with my phone.i got a call from vodacom's tech department and he said i must also go to a vodacom shop.also that there might be a software problem.he said to get my settings reset also.ill be making a trip to vodacom's shop now.vodacom3g give me a lift man.my car broke.lol ill keep you up to date
 
Sky.akash get me two blonde nurses then and make it fast ! I got my vlive working after a week.it was a connection problem.dont know why they took so long to figure it.
 
Lol akash.female nurses will do.lol you still using virgin mobile or you using all networks ?
 
I use Virgin for data on my pc. I have a VC top up contract which I use for calls and data on my phone (not vlive). I use up the balance of my airtime for pc data when the need arises.
