Vodamail on Iphone 4

I have the following problem, maybe someone knows how to rectify it.

I have set up Vodamail on my Iphone 4, everything seems fine it recieves the mails faster than by Bold 9700. However, when i reply to a mail, it will not send it. Only when i get home and the phone logs on to my WIFI network, the mails gets sent.

First thing... Is your home WIFI network also Vodacom? If its Telkom or MWEB or any other ISP they will have their own smtp settings for sending mail.
When you sync Mail Accounts on your iPhone in iTunes, it imports mail settings directly from Outlook or Mail (whichever mail client you use) including the smtp settings which is why you can send mail at home but not when you're away from home.
When you're not home, you're on the Vodacom network and you need the Vodamail smtp settings to send mail... they are smtp.vodamail.co.za

Go to Settings... Mail,Contacts, Calendars... Select your mail account and scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server... Select SMTP and click on Add Server... Add the Vodamail server address and let the phone verify the address (this can take a while).

Then, when you're away from home, you need to turn off your other Outgoing Mail Servers and run with the Vodamail outgoing server.
