Voice control everywhere

I don't need or want this.

I didn't either, but voice control has become quite useful - I hate fiddling with apps, so I've used IFTTT and my phone to do various things, e.g. when I'm doing my weekly pool backwash cycle, its as simple as saying "Ok Google, fill the pool" - and it does that without me having to take my phone out of my pocket. (same with music, etc in various parts of the house)

I don't need or want this.
And yet you'll find yourself using it all the time in a few years.
Or will you grump on the porch about the good old days of twisting knobs and pressing buttons?

It was around in various places, starting from IBM OS/2 Warp. Now with powerful CPU's we don't need separate chip.
