VoiP data v/s internet Data

Hello everyone

I am new here and apologies if what I am about to ask has already been asked before.

I have fiber installed at my home with the ISP contract that says uncapped, unshaped and unthrottled. Working from home, I now want to have a VoiP line that I will use over the same internet services.

The question is : Do I only need to buy SIP Phone and connect it to the wifi router (I will use Ethernet RJ-45) or do I also need to pay separate data for VioP?

Same data. You will probably need a voip provider though. Doesn't have to be the same as your isp
