i think the PC version of GRAW is severly unoptimized, i mean how could the same game run on a X360 with detail on MAX @ 1280x720 without any hiccups?

it is only a 3.2Ghz CPU with a XT1900XT card in it.

I find that Rambo gives my IBM Redstone 8mhz some severe stick. Thank goodness I have that turbo button that bumps me up to 12mhz, it makes it somewhat playable.

xbox 360 has 3 x 3.2ghz cpu's...

no. its one CPU with 3 3.2Ghz cores and no game thus far has been coded to maximise its use.

it just shows poor optimization from the developer that made the PC version of GRAW. The X360 version of GRAW was developed by another division within the same developer.

Well not to burst your bubble but both ran fine on my previous AMD 754 with settings set to high.
System setup was Athlon 3000+ 754 with 2gb ram and a 7800gs AGP card.

Oblivion gave me some hasles and Tomb Raider made it look like a slide show.

But the AMD dual core fixed it all............:D

Are you running on 1600 x 1200 with full anti aliasing etc etc

if you are then well done thats amazing that your system can handle it

In any case company of heroes seems to use more resources than any other game i have played. I use 94% of the available memory (2gb) and i often get an FPS of 10

I think its time to upgrade my memory

Nope not running it in that rediculous 1600 x 1200 thinghy it would just look crap on my widescreen..... :p

I'm using 1440 x 900 which gives me a decent enough experience, and yes it's running with full antianalising. Must say with next gen content on I do get points where the screen start to look choppy. I'll rather leave the next generation settings for a 7950.........

that puts not just the PC but your online connection under strain as well, currently all we seek is the PC game that makes your PC crawl under maxed settings.

I had to add an extra 512kb of RAM to my 386 so Wing Commander would work. Yikes!
