I am looking at VOX and CrystalWeb for adsl at home. It does not state so on their site, but does anyone know if they have the capped bundles which includes adsl line rental?

For crystalweb just select the capped option under internet and select capped. Then select your package and it will go through a lot of questions asking you about the package you'd like and it will ask you if you want them to manage your Telkom line.

I don't think Vox directly bundles it but you can always check out their lines offering directly (do not it is still a Telkom line, just offered at a slightly cheaper rate due to them getting reduced costs from Telkom due to mass management of lines).

Always keep your line with Telkom.

You can do whatever you'd like. If the cost saving is worth it for you, go through your ISP.
The only problems you might have is that Telkom "recently" changed their policy which could result in a couple of days downtime during migration and one having to report/manage all line faults through the ISP/company managing your line.

Do note to ignore PostmanPat with his Mweb suggestions, he is an extremely loyal fanboy no matter what proof you put in front of him. He is never wrong according to him.

EDIT: Also rather than just saying do this, do that, give reasons why.

What's this got to do with MWEB and PostManPat? I've never seen them posting about MWEB, certainly not in this thread.

I don't see why people choose an ISP to manage the line. I'll repeat what I said a while back, but if that ISP goes belly up, or a problem like (Open Web), then you have to transfer that Line back to Telkom. That means having some downtime, which many people might not like.

If you want to save a small cost by all means move the line, but really there isn't further reason to let an ISP manage the line.

But the above is just my opinion.
