I have a chromecast that works with my Axxess account and Crystalweb. Does not work when Im using my Vox fatpipe account.

Anyone else 'have this problem?

Hi,
Let me investigate this for you :) Could you kindly send me your account number in a PM and I'll call you back

Any update on this? I've just signed up with Vox fatpipe and my chromecast cant access the internet - works on Afrihost.
I'll PM my details Voxy.

yes, strange. Maybe a user specific fix there. I'll wait to hear from Vox.

I don't seem to have an issue with my chromecast. Stream netflix, youtube, rdio and pandora without an issue

Using their Fat Pipe?

I've switched back and forth between Afrihost and Vox and definitely still not working on Vox.

Got a message from Voxy this am that a technician will contact me - hopefully soon.

Yup using fatpipe. I will try again tonight when I get home, but used it 2 days ago and it was fine

Also having the same issue. Just switched back to telkom with no issues :(

Vox technician figured this one out. It's now working for me.

Seems like a router issue (I have Netgear). Using firewall rules rather than static routes works.
Disable the static routes that were blocking Google DNS lookup and add the firewall rules as described here: http://help.unotelly.com/support/solutions/articles/207897

I should have thought about this but was thrown off by that fact that it worked with Afrihost but not Vox - still don't know why.

All good now. Thanks Vox.

Nope not working for me. Works fine with other isp but no go with vox.

Confirm Chromecast not working with Vox account.

All other ISP accounts working fine.

I assume all of you that are having issues with the chromecast use Unotelly, and specifically, the the 2 SA servers?

Try this: Change your DNS to the next 2 on the list ie. Egypt and Israel (Don't worry, they are Dynamo). Reboot the router and see if the chromecast now works.

Thank you, Voodoo! Changing the DNS seems to have sorted it out for me!
