VOX down?

Vox is absolute rubbish, our company is forever having problems with them.
We use the 3CX app through them.Support staff are pathetic.
Any suggestions, recommendation for a better service provider.
We are looking at cancelling the contract due to lack of support
Do you need 3CX itself because if you need just VoIP you can use Switch Telecom?
Else if you need the 3CX platform you can have it hosted locally with an SIP trunk to Switch Telecom via a 3rd party. Maybe speak to https://itried.co.za/

strange cause vox is generally very good on my side.goes down once in a blue moon.

I have hardly had any issues with VOX, Vumatel, who is the FNO in our area, that is a different story. This last month alone we had about 4 lenghty outages due to Vumatel. What is strange, is that this never happened for ages. I think a tech screwed something up badly on Vuma's side, and they are fighting fires.

Our company has major problems with them.
Calls inbound and outbound forever dropping and clients complaining that the "lines" are very noisy and can't hear us properly

ok you are having an issue with voip , not the line itself.Big difference. Also we all know with voip its latency and jitter senstive. You need to also check your company's network design and infrastructure , and have different vlans , qos etc.Looks like you need to get an IT company in to look at the bigger picture.

If its in the 4ways area then water contractors have been damaging the fibre with their backhoes.

It might not been in the end user's ability to troubleshoot all that, but yes the factors might not be ISP related. However it still contributes to a poor experience.
I have a standard config that ploughs that road for VoIP in preference to anything else which mitigates problems significantly.
