What did r u changing

Just changed my DNS settings to 8.8.8.8

Right click network icon on the bottom right of your home screen, click open network and sharing centre, click on change adapter settings, right click Ethernet and select properties, scroll down to and click Internet protocol version 4 (IPv4) then select properties and change the "obtain DNS server address automatically" to "use the following DNS server address" and under preferred DNS server - type in 8.8.8.8 then click Ok and Close

Worked for me anyway.. All the best!
 
Everything is redundant from radius to dns to networking, to back end storage. Worst 2 minutes ever.

Ok will wait till the morning hopefully everything is working by then.

What was the cause of the 2 minute power drop?

A severe lack of power.

On a serious note, I'm not the one to divulge that information, sorry. That will most likely be announced after a full recovery has happened.

There's quite a lot going on at the office still. Teams working on different parts of the business.

There is no ETA at this point that I can share.

This was a major outage and still is, recovery is still on-going.

Can we assume it's thus normal to have no connectivity?

No, you should have connectivity. If you are able to connect and get an IP you might not get anywhere due to the name servers.

For the time being, until we fully recover, use the public Google name servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

This is what I'm doing at home and is working for me.

Can one change these settings on an android phone. Can't see them?

Since 6pm after a manual restart my ADSL account for 75gb FatPipe is failing with incorrect username or password. No Password changes were made. Is that type of authentication still an issue? i tried logging onto the Website but it also fails my known user and password for the website.

Your reply would be appreciated.
 
No, mine is up and running, just working this morning
