Vox Telecom Cancellation Nightmare

I cancelled with Vox around 7 months ago to move to MacroLan (supporting a local ISP). I had zero issues and they released the line with no costs (of course I was with them for 18 months so was over the 12 month term).

seeing as I had to endure December without internet, I applied for LTE from Afrihost, seeing as did not want to get tied down to a 2-year contract from other ISP's offering LTE. After forking out just about 3 grand and 3.5 weeks later I had a sim and no internet due to not having an "approved" router, then having to buy another "approved" router, I ditched Afrihost and demanded a FULL refund, which was duly given. Then, mid-Jan imagine my frustration when they billed me R999 for cancellation of service...One threatening phone call and two emails later that charge was withdrawn.

I am not so sure I want to venture back into that cesspool again. But right about now, I am so mad I just might after all.

Is it just me, or is Vox's support the most incoherent, dysfunctional bowl of dog turd out there? There's supposedly twenty-million different departments with absolutely no intercommunication. No department wants to take responsibility to aid you, but are quick to connect you to another...

Vox cancellations teams are scum. Same horrendous experience with them. Just bear in mind they own 51% of frogfoot. Hence I doubt they will ease up their shitty policies any time soon. They don’t need to.

Yes, I don't mind if they acknowledge that there might be a mistake and they will investigate the issue. They just straight said that the matter finalize and cannot do anything. If the account manager made 2 mins effort in just requesting the team to investigate, there will be no need for this thread and will have retained a customer that will have gave them business for 5 other fibre places. Best part I recommended them to all my family and friends before. I even added 3 business fibre and 6 Residential fibre. Now 7 has been cancelled and waiting for 4 more months to move away the 2 remaining.
