Has anyone had any experience using the vox telecom fat pipe bundles (consumer or
business) or any other capped account of that nature?
I've got a strapping new 20mb line to keep fed, and I don't reasonably expect to use
less than maybe 170gb a month (which is what I was doing when I only connected at
6mb).
What's actually quite important to me as well is burst speed. If I need to suddenly download
a 30 gb virtual machine of some random piece of IBM enterprise software, I simply
don't have the patience anymore to try and babysit or schedule my bandwidth usage.
I've been growing very tired of trying to get various ISP's to stick to reasonable
performance profiles, and about now I'm ready to just buy really big bunches
of capped data.
That has to be easier and probably cheaper than the 7/12 months this year where
I've had multiple uncapped accounts that I've switched between when I stumble over
magic invisible download limits.
