Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Glad to hear this.. :)

I just logged in to see my usage and was surprised to see I'd used 150GB of my cap, which is almost exactly what my data logger on my router setup says, except I know a lot of it happened between 00:00/06:00 .. Was worried I was missing something somewhere. :p

While you guys are working on the UI, it would be super awesome if we could log in using our email address (or at least a custom username) I have to pull up the email with my details each time cos I'll never remember that random username I was given. :o

Yes please!

Could the login process be made a bit easier, linked to an email address or something?

Also, there is a bug on the iOS app (not sure where to report it) where when you enter your login details then it fails and asks for your account ID as well and then it works when you supply that as well. Not exactly the most user friendly experience ever but once in, it works.

The android app does this too, thought it was intentional, but yea it's annoying as well.

Would actually be nice if the app at least would have a persistent login, perhaps it could just re ask for password for making changes/purchases etc.

Maybe even login with Touch ID for iOS? That would be nice.

Do people not use the browser to save your login details, or something like LastPass?

I've never done that, I guess because I don't really like the idea that if someone steals my PC they also get all my logins or something.. :p

Also I've never really had trouble remembering logins/passwords that I chose.. it's just this one cos I didn't choose it. :o

... This is normal, as weekends count as offpeak from 12PM already. (Not to sure the exact, but 12PM is close to it)

But according to one of the people at support@vox: "The Fatpipe usage is not free over the weekends. It is still only from midnight to 6am." But pointing out the difference between the graphs and what was said, I was greeted with silence.
And sorry, I dont take an answer from a helpdesk or callcentre as difinitive, until double checked.

6.6. Fat Pipe subscribers will be granted free daily data between midnight
(00:00) and six a.m (06:00).
6.7. Free data usage will not be deducted from the subscribed data bundle or
from accumulated data.

Weekends aren't free, 12-6 still applies, they are busy working on updating the user portal, the bar graph system was implemented way before the free data.

This is what it might look like:

Something's not feeling too lekker with YouTube tonight. Some vids are fine, but others just struggle to stream. Anyone else getting the same thing?

Feeling weird for me too, it will go full speed and start to slow to a crawl.

Got my ASUS DSL-AC68U setup and running on VDSL 20Mbps last night - what a mission to get anyone at 10210 to which from ADSL2+ to VDSL anyway...

Did some quick tests last night and Youtube performance is still way below par.
Anyone able to stream 4K content on a 20Mbps
1080P is so last year...

When doing speedtests to USA it hovered around 5Mbps compared to local speedtest of 20Mbps??
You will never get 20Mbps international. 20Mbps is the last mile basically from the exchange to your place. You contend with others for local and international traffic. It is after all cheap ADSL not dedicated fibre.
For me anyway Chrome doesn't remember all 3 fields, only username and password, I have to put Account ID in everytime

With Lastpass you can add custom fields like account ID. Very helpful for this scenario.

So not only is the zero rated information fixed in the customer portal, but there's a new updated customer portal being released Sunday night just after 8pm. (new portal and zero rated info displayed)

I think you guys will like it :) It looks real good.
