Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Anyone having issue in Cape Town with streaming Kodi on HD. It's like buffering all the time on my 40meg. This has been going in for a couple of days already

Watched a lot of Kodi over the weekend, no issues, sometimes if it struggles to start in the beginning I just stop and select a different source, always fixes it.

Can some else on Vox test this video.

On my side at 1080P it seems to be limited to around 280KB/s, while other videos are at my line speed when buffering.

Video

YouTube stats say this when watching that video:

Connection Speed: 18711 Kbps

Thanks for that. Its so odd. After resetting my connection to Vox a few times I eventually got an IP assigned that played that video normally. Quite odd.

Hi all,

Anyone having issues in CPT? Only getting 25% of my download speed, which means IPTV is sucking big time.

It would seem that vox is counting zero based usage to my standard usage. The downloads that I did for the past three nights between 12am and 6am is showing in my standard usage when viewing the tracker and not showing as zero rated usage. The tracker indicates that just a little bit of data was downloaded during 12am and 6am where there was actually 24gigs done each night.

I've lost +- 70gigs like this in the last 3 days. Anybody have any advice on sorting this out? If it goes on like this I'll probably have to cancel and move on. Vox support is looking into it but it looks like a losing battle.

Is it legal to 'sell' your vox account to someone else, as it is FICA'd on your name? And what price can you put on it?

It's legal to transfer ownership and it is allowed by Vox (as well as conducted by them).

Thanks. Then the only question is how much can you ask for your account.

what account and how much rollover data?

Normally they just pay for the rollover and take over the account. - i sold mine for less than R100 per 100GB

Data Account - Fatpipe 400GB Promo - R164 per month

Rollover stands on 2300gb currently...

Just thinking of selling... depends on MTN having their 50gb special again.

@plugger123 - In the vox control panel, there is a session logs section under your data account, take note of the time you downloaded your data along with your session log and send this to support. Once you got a ticket number, try sending it to Voxy on here and maybe they will help escalate to relevant department to have a look.

Did you start your download before the 12am window or after? Am wondering if they made changes to how this is monitored. :)

Omg how did I miss that promo? By the way.. how's the uncapped with vox? The standard
