Yeah that worked.

But can you guys change it on your side so that it gets to my router in that order?

I'm not a fan of hardcoding DNS servers in like this.
 
After missing out on the Fat Pipe deal i'm looking at a VOX uncapped account , anybody got any experience with the uncapped vox accounts ?

+1, I am also currently looking at this. Joined CyberSmart recently and found out too late that most protocols are shaped through the day (I can't even stream 720p at 9PM on a 10Mb line, I was able to do this on a 6Mb Mweb account any time of any day)

will bolt-on maybe be usefull? eg 6pm to 6am uncapped and weekends all the time?

quite happy with downloads currently , and on 4Mb it gives moooooore than enough linux entertainment.

looks very very similar to the bitco offering. Maybe reed through the bitco thread to see how that went down.

think most people accepted the FUP in that form, but wanted priority traffic to be zero-rated (for example streaming).

just checking- once you hit a FUP it will stay like that for x-days...aka rolling window?
 
It seems like my line dropped at exactly 9 pm, didnt have a chance to test this morning again. I tried both my VOX accounts, and they wouldnt authenticate. Tried my old ISP and it was on and fasst, as it should. Eventually got the VOX to work, but it was dead slow.

Once into a FUP channel, you remain there until the next FUP channel, etc (until the end of the month)

Really only 3 people had an opinion of this? I think this got buried under the DNS issue.
 
Very interesting!

Would I be able to keep the 100GB fatpipe for day time use and then the uncapped for after hours?
