Vox Telecom Fatpipe

This is looking really good. However if I notice any signs of it being shaped it's going into the bin.A capped product is useless to me if it's shaped.

Very awesome easter egg. Thanks to Chris, the users who shared their suggestions and the team for making this possible. Prepare for the influx of new users :D.

Someone explain the point of concurrent connections to me? Do people share higher speed accounts at half speed on each connection, or what?

Fat Pipe isn't rate limited. So nothing is split. It's for people who want to use the account in more than one place at a time.

Fatpipe is a capped account, so it's full speed. Useful if you have a family member who does not use a lot of data and you have a big capped account.

Ie. two people could potentially share an account at half price? That's very nice of VOX, though I don't understand it from a business perspective, but I'm sure nobody's complaining!

EDIT: It's still early - I didn't factor in the fact that it's a capped account, obviously you're paying for / using the same amount of bandwidth, no matter how many connections.

Going to be interesting to see how the other ISPs respond to VoX's moves.

VoX hasn't been overly aggressive in grabbing as much market share as fast as possible. Seems like a measured approach. Which has NOT caused issues for the users base. Looking good!

Bandwidth is bandwidth right?

A few things which were mentioned lately that I want to clear up as well:

The midnight to 6am is every day of the week for any size Fatpipe product not just the 150GB as someone questioned yesterday or the day before.

Also, for those curious, the midnight to 6am is available even after you have used your cap!

Enjoy it guys!

So it's Tuesday where is the announcement :D

edit: never mind, got it.

Awesomesauce!

Nice surprise... thanks Vox.

Quick question...
the 12am-6am free data spot... will the session / connection need to be terminated before 6am in order for this not to be allocated to the Capped portion or is the system clever enough to work out free data from normal data time spans?

A super product just got better! Have to consider what to do about my Telkom midnight to 7am now... may just kill it and move my line over. First world troubles! :-)

You don't need to do anything, we take care of it.

Simply put, I told the system to count things differently after midnight up until 559am then count normally. This is as non-technical as I can put it... ;)

Nice gift, from VOX, I am just not a night owl, would be awesome if the weekends were included, but anyway good on VOX, just hope my 150 Gig is going to last me for the month (I think not so)

If you run out of cap, we will redirect you to the login portal. From there you can top up and NOT worry about losing any part of your top up that you might not use in the month, since we carry it over for you up to 6x your cap (150 x 6 = 900GB).

Hope this helps!
