Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Netflix seems to be struggling lately. Used to be able to get hd streams, not it drops down to lowest streaming profile and buffers occasionally.

Any ideas?
 
Is there an active VOX rep on this forum?

Applied for the uncapped bolt on to my ADSL lite account, and they called to say they have to RICA me? How does that work?

What region are you in and on what day / time frame was this issue?

RICA is a formality. If they need documentation from you, they will contact you, otherwise it should take a day or so to process. Give them a call later today and ask for status.

Asking why it needs to be RICA'd.

I already have an account with VOX, and they have all my banking details. Now I have to fill in a physical form with my details on it, why the duplication? Plus it's an unnecessary security risk. The system has my details, now we making a hard copy of the details that anyone can copy or steal.

Easiest way to explain this, "Business Process". The BSS platform has flags for certain products and before things can be processed, the workflow must be followed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Eish, frustrating. I don't mind the paperwork, what I don't like it having to fill out my credit card details on a form that anyone can see.

Completely understood, I personally feel the same. If it makes your feel any better ... even working here, when I bought my bolt on, I had to do the same. :)
 
I have noticed last night that my int ping has gone from 200 to 250ms... not the end of the world.. but noticeable in gaming...is anything going on?

It sure does look like it has issues now, as more and more people connect without the infrastructure being improved you get congestion, which it looks like you now have.
