Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I hear you there.

Unshaped until it's not.

I guess they have to include this in their T's&C's to protect the network.

EDIT: It's normally torrents that's the first to go if there is shaping.

The fact that speed test.net has zero packet loss and runs full speed indicates they give unshaped access to it, while everything else on their network is failing

Not at home, so I cant test. But I am on a capped account, not sure it will help to check if there is shaping.

I see problems being reported in MWEB thread as well, so dont think it's ISP specific.

** Edit : Same on Axxess page.

## Edit : Same on Afrihost. There is an issue with JHB IPC.

I bought some Webafrica prepaid bandwidth to work, and it is working flawlessly.

I wish they would tell us what is going on

From another thread where issues were reported"

UPDATE: IPC Capacity has been restored in the Northern Region and engineers are currently monitoring for stability. Affected users should see services normalising again.

Looking much better now yes.

Same ISP's affected in the same way as last time.. smells like that township-stretch of Telkom fibre broke again. Probably another rampant fire. Would be nice if Voxy could confirm - Problem is serious yet communication is sorely lacking.

My thoughts exactly.

Pardon me, but could you please link me to these problems in the MWEB thread?

Go browse the thread, people complaining about connectivity issues.

I did so, but came short.

Let me cut to the chase here. There are no MWEB connectivity issues, never are, and today's claim of yours is false.

It's OK deceiving yourself into a false sense of feeling better, but please don't deceive others.

So much contradiction in one post.

How does one cancel a Vox ADSL account? I sent an email but no reply as yet.

There is no cancel button on their web portal.
Is there a Vox representative here?
