Been slow and high ping most of the day now it is dead on dead on dead. I am on afrihost or I would not be able to post this. I am considering canceling.

Same for me, Afrihost to the rescue.
Vox used to be rock solid for me, but problems have been cropping up randomly and intermittently over last couple of weeks.

Sorry, yeah I didn't really specify.

What basically happens is, it's as if my connection just "cuts" out. Especially with webpages, I'll get DNS error message in Chrome and nothing wants to load. The only solution is to switch to a different account and then 5-10 min later switchback to my Vox account and it will magically go away as if it didn't happen :wtf:

Started happening recently for us, i had the account logged in all weekend that past and no issues to report but this week it has started again.

I use the following dns as per a google search

196.41.0.10
196.41.0.11

I hope they improve their service and I have yet to sell someone on why they should get Vox apart from that last special that many of us took. Very very sad. We all miss you Chris .

So glad I checked this thread. I need a new ISP and I'm struggling to decide between CW, Vox and Axxess.

Guess it's between CW and Axxess now.

Vox has 6 month rollover (or more accurately, rollover for 6 times your cap), which for my family is more useful than a premium news server. And Axxess is a bit cheaper - priced between Afrihost and CW (with 3 month rollover). I remember murmurings about rollover with CW. Did anything come of that?

Thats why I wonder sometimes about thread. At first sight it seems all doom and gloom. Yet I had no issues except when all ISPs had problems due to the international cable damage.

I have uncapped LTE but gave my vox promo to my cousin as its such a good deal.

Yeah regretting the move from cw to vox. I'll be back next month...
