Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Very slow the past few days.
Yesterday I had to pull a some files from a git hosted by gitlab... Only got like 60kb/s, where I usually get 800-900kb/s (10mbps line).

Agreed. They keep telling me they'll "reset my ip" but it's still the same after 2 tries. Youtube defualts to 240 or 360p and is slow and buffers.

Is their network congested? Time for a new ISP?

Yeh, something definitely not acting up... My streaming services are not working as they should. As soon as I change ISP everything back to normal... Vox team, any feedback? I live in the Southern Cape

Had no problems with any realtime or p2p services at all. In Western Cape as well. Been torrenting and youtubing the whole weekend.

I'm considering signing up with vox at start of Feb. Has this solved the issues from the recent posts in this thread? I'm in CT and currently play BF1 which is international servers so need a good connection. (AH is having that terrible latency issues mentioned in other threads so I'm getting 300ms+)
I do not want to comment on how happy I am with VOX in case it jinxes it. No probs whatsoever, I am on a 400GB fatpite package.

I play BF1 on Vox, average ping is 165 , max 170, also in CPT

lol, understood! I might just get vox in anycase. AH and axxess not an option at the moment; crystalweb doesn't fit my budget; and i don't go near webafrica since my last encounter with them. Last time I had fatpipe my line ran at the max it could handle so will gove them a try again

Trying to download a 50MB file... going at a whopping 40kb/s on 10MB ADSL... Frustration! The fatpipe seems to be a thin pipe. :wtf:

Yep the weekend hit and Vox network is shyte again. Their techs make up imaginary problems with your ports so that they can unload you onto telkoms help line.

Any good ISP reccomendations? I think the end of vox and me is nearing

Dont worry I use Vox on my 100mb fibre line, Playing heros of the storm is unplayable. 220ms upto 600ms
getting 15% packetloss and their support just want to reboot my router and OCN all the time.

Also nearing the end with them

Streaming Exodus the past few days on Vox sucks!!!

Mines been working fine, however I find that some "hosts" doesn't work and others play flawlessly.

By "hosts" I mean the list of available sites listed when wanting to play the same file

I find that Daclips works the best for me when available.
