Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Looks like the issues are mostly being reported in the Western Cape.
Jhb seams to be running fine, possibly better than normal now that the Western Cape load has been shed :)

Yeah, agreed. here in the south Vox has been consistently top notch for years for me now. So this is quite abnormal.

Mine is normally good, I think we are trying to establish the issue of the last 2 days, not say that it has never worked.
If it were that bad I wouldnt be here, I use it for business.
But for the last couple of days it has been loosing or corrupting data and is counter productive.

Vox has been perfect since I signed up in Jan.

What I have been complaining about is twice this week generally around 00am or 1am international dies in terms of ping hitting 500ms+ and massive packet loss. This generally last a few hours, but during the day and before that specific issue ping and speeds are fine.

VOX them selves don’t even know what is causing this random international issue.

All they could say is to phone them when it happens so they can diagnose it as it is on going.

I think Vox rocks. I was just adding my voice to the above. Mainly so those guys didn't feel alone...

Hell I am even thinking of cancelling my CW account. How the hell in today's age can a ISP not have a app nor a functioning client portal. I have no idea how much data I have with CW nor do I even know if their data roll over. Realy dont understand why they voted the best every other year

I'm with you on canceling CW and sticking to Vox.

I'm trying to buy a 300 GB fat pipe account on the Vox Telecom website, but no matter which browser I use (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge) it tells me there are no products in the shopping cart when proceeding to checkout. I've made sure my ad blocker (uBlock Origin) is disabled on the appropriate browser, but no luck.

What gives?

Western Cape, and a lot of issues lately - specifically that I'm getting shaped heavily.. Hop on VPN and it flies (sometimes), without it shaped to 60kbps (SFTP).
What's up with such heavy shaping on a Capped Vox account?

Streaming Dota matches ingame also seem to have bollocks throughput, yet streaming it on youtube is fine.
Some dodginess is afoot here with shaped protocols..

PS. Have 2 Vox accounts, and sometimes the one would be shaped while the other isn't

Currently experiencing high latency and only 25% throughput on international traffic with fatpipe. Local is fine.

Is there a known issue?

experienced the same issue but had a live chat and they called me back instead

My line also crap of late.. I do IPTV streaming and it sucks and buffers a lot. Got all this data to burn on a 40Mbps line, but international traffic are slow!!

Having these issues for a while now.

Same problem here, IPTV buffers a lot and international traffic is pretty slow.

Glad to see I am not the only one suffering with crap IPTV and streaming issues. Call Vox and they blame telkom and when I tell them if I change the ISP it magically works then they sound all distressed and tell me to wait and not 5 min later it all works again. rinse repeat almost every day.

Yeah, streaming sucks guts at the moment

Was having issues with netflix and showmax so switched to another router with Axxess details and that was even worse.
Switched back to Vox and it worked again, seems If I reset the router and go right away into Netflix or showmax it works fine, browse on ipad and then try streaming I somehow have issues on Apple TV 4.
