Strangely I found the same results if I reboot my rooter. It's a relatively new Asus DSL-AC55U, which should not have issues!!
 
Any problems today?i cant connect to most international sites, seems dead today.I called vox and they said everything is fine

Ping is 19ms in Cape Town. 185ms to Barcelona.

But these tests did remind me I'm only getting effing half of my linespeed from telkom. Bit ***. Must initiate conversation with them again.
 
I can't connect to speed test to check international,tried mwebs speed test and London just hangs.I'll check it again when I'm home

Whateva if you need to swear at me go ahead, I can take it. It was just light humour to start with. BTW I hate it when people accuse ISP'S for slow connectivity when it's actually their fault or the exchange.
 
Ok i just got home switch to afrihost all well and dandy,then i reverted back to vox and everything works.

The problem is the lack of transparency from the ISP's. Many people have to publicly complain on social media before they admit they have issues on their side. When last have we had any communication from Voxy?
 
Is anyone finding a significant drop in performance when connecting to a VPN? I am using pure vpn and it feels like streaming slows down quite a lot when I am on VPN. Normal browsing and downloading on VPN works great though... Wonder if its just me imagining things. Might be the VPN als playign a role.
 
My VPN to work on the other side of town today was Excellenté ! Thanks Vox for a pleasurable working-from-home experience.
