Anyone have problems with Vox? Wife says line is dead, red light on router.

Why is twitch so slow?
I can stream youtube no problem, but twitch struggles with even 480p.

You never know with Twitch, one night I'm able to do multiple HD 60FPS streams side by side and then another time I struggle to do a single 480P stream.

Use the Alternate player for Twitch (Chrome extension) or look for the Twitch 5 extension in Firefox or edge if you use that. You can set the number of connections to the twitch servers and other settings as well. Really works wonders if vanilla Twitch decides to go belly up connection wise
YouTube has a Local Mirror/Cache Twitch is international.
That said there are Twitch Helpers around if you search.
I had a Twitch Plugin for Chrome at one stage, cant recall the name, that made a big difference in reliability.

Already had an extension to switch the server, but never helped.
Trying Alternate player extension now. Still struggling, but I can see download speed has increased from ~100K to ~400-600K

Mines been down for three days. Support ticket has never been replied to yet. Is the only way to get service from VOX is to phone them? I can't get in at all yet I can use other ISP.
Their service has really gone to the dogs I've been waitng for a week for a simple speed upgrade from 50meg to 100meg.
Yeah, not nice, I'm paying for something I can't use. Will try call them again just now.
Update:Eventually got a call, they trying to sort it out. Hopefully soon...

Anyone else having issues during peak hours with Twitch? I've tried the Twitch 5 Extention and still buffers, I can only stream on 160P it seems with my 100Mbps line.

I do yes. Vox support says there's nothing they can do about it.
Did they give any reason though why they can't?
Their support is ***, (I get really frustrated when phoning them)
They hire morons that troubleshoot from a questionnaire...
I can't remember exactly, since it was about a month ago (I've been having this issue a while) but it was some nonsense about the way Twitch serves their content. I just remember it was utter nonsens because it only happens during peak time.
argh, yea having exact same issue during peak times, and it really sucks they can't even give propper reasons or investigate to help resolve it.
