Vox Telecom launches Fat Pipe Wireless

This might be a better option than ADSL since telkom cant install my new line... :( sadly no FTTH in our area
 
Cant believe companies still advertise uncapped and people still fall for it. These prices are pointless if they don't say what the fair use limit is on each package.
 
Is there any details on the contention ratios for these services? Compared to WiruLINK they are very cheap but if it is a 1:25 contention ratio the service may suffer.
 
Look, at the end of the day, ALL ISP's need to make a profit. Nobody is exempt from the capital and network costs.

So go and look at similar packages/pricepoints and see what you get. Specifically wireless packages. You can't beat physics.

This will be ****ty and slow at peak times, guaranteed.
 
Setup costs: What exactly will they be installing or doing, why does it cost that much?
 
Us techno freaks want more input.

Frequency spectrum, system type, details of the CPE, how it will be installed, coding system, modulations schemes, etc all the good stuff.

You can feed the marketing hype to those that want it we want the meat please.
