Vredenburg Help

Hi guys,

I need a bit of help with something.
It's rather urgent as I'm going tomorrow.

I'm going to Vredenburg tomorrow BY MYSELF using ONLY my Nokia Ovi Maps as GPS to "Albertros Crescent, Vredenburg"

Now, using Streetmaps.co.za, I can only find Albatros St (note spelling)

Obviously, If I can find it on that, I should be able to find it on Nokia Ovi Maps, yet, searching for Albertros or Albatros I can't find squat on Ovi Maps, YET - if I manually find it, I can find it.

Just so we clear, I hate this 'new' free Ovi maps, it's really just kark! (old version found EVERYTHING!)

Anyways, can you guys help me out, basically, what I'm looking for is to just confirm that;

a) Albertros Crescent is in fact Albatros St

If it is, I'll just zoom in, plot a route and go... if I get there alive and back is another story!

Okay, so I did a bit more hunting.

There is 2 Albatros' roads/streets/what-the-phuck-evers in that area.

Albatros Crescent, Langebaan (118km)

Albatros Street, Vredenberg (126.7km)

Guess I'll find out which one it is tomorrow when I speak to the client.

Langebaan is around 20km from Vredenburg If I recall correctly, if you drive from CapeTown, you turn left just after that big boulder, and Albatross is the second on the left - knew somebody who lived there. But it could have changed since I was last there 8 years ago

It's only Vredenburg... Hardly more than an hour out of CPT and NOT that big!

My advice, try Vredenburg first and if you don't succeed go back towards Cape Town via Saldanha Bay. Enjoy the drive.

Next time, make sure you have a Garmin - you'll be lost without it

What version of Ovi Maps do you have? They still do not have the newest streets for Dwarskersbos but I know they are spot on for Veldrift and Vredenburg.

Mate, you're looking for Albatros singel (crescent) and it is in Vredenburg.

Don't go to Albatros street. That's in the neighbouring town Saldanha.

EDIT: Who are you visiting who lives in Albatros crescent.
