Never been a fan of it, and my studies are geared towards Big Data & Analytics, I was doing front-end as a "hobby", contracting for a friend to have some money while studying. Now that my studies are ramping up properly again, I have very little time, so I solve only the more difficult tasks, which are pretty much all back-end (tbh, I'm expecting within the next 5 years or so that everything will be drag and drop for the customer with very little front-end coding, it will pretty much all be designers and back-end with back-end figuring out how to break the business tasks/processes into manageable steps).
