Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

New member from Lenham, I'm surprised to see a thread here about Phoenix. Has anybody heard anything about the rollout here?

Any news on Greenbury side?
We have Vodacom fibre, I checked the pricing now and there's not a big difference between Vodacom and Vumatel.

Hey, just checked yesterday that trenching has started on northcroft drive and Lenham drive. Hopefully that means that we are only a few months out on going live.

Where in Greenbury you at? We don't have any fibre here (heard they were digging etc) :(

Any idea how long till pre-orders go live? Basically a time frame from when they start trenching to when installation starts

Aweh, I see them now thanks! Went for a jog in the morning and saw the trenches. Can't wait for that connection!

I hope at some point we get a faster package than 40/10.

Good Morning Everyone

I am so amped that fibre is being rolled out in Phoenix.

Can someone give us an update on whats happening for Areas like Greenbury, Rainham, Stonebridge

I have sent emails to vumatel reach but no joy.

I hope they do those areas last, the oldest part of Phoenix probably has the worth infrastructure, and the local politicians are pushing for their names in the papers with the sob stories of residents, asking awkward questions and wanting to put a spanner in the works. I don't mind the destruction for what we are getting for R400. Apart from those areas mentioned, only Westham, Redfern, Whetstone, Trenance Manor and Shastri Park have not seen any activity.

It wasn't me. It was all these neighbours signing up like it's hot.
