Vuma Reach just went live in my area. We are getting slow speeds to servers outside of Durban .

The reason I'm asking about rx signal is that somebody else spoke to an employee of a small ISP claims that the RX Signal should be -16, the signal in our area is around -20. I just want to check if -20 is the standard signal on reach.

That is still within normal range

@AfriNatic Is there any issues with YouTube on Afrihost? I've been having trouble streaming some videos at 1080p/60 since Sunday.

There is ongoing capacity issues with Google in JHB. Please make sure you have IPv6 enabled and working to reach our cache servers in KZN.

Where do I enable IPV6 with the Vuma Reach Huawei GPON?
 
@AfriNatic is there an issue with the fibre in the Phoenix area ? Every night without fail...speeds drop and it's insane because I can't stream or navigate anything on the internet

I know it's not Vuma Reach related but does anyone know anything about a fibre base station being setup near Rydalvale Primary school?

Afrihost confirmed a known outage (I am in Trenance Manor) , up and running now, 1st noticed that I could not access my cameras when I checked around 3PM.

Are there any known trackers on outages, to distinguish from individual issues that should be addressed to the ISP support?
