Great stuff. I think they are still trenching certain areas in Caneside, once that's done I think they would mark the area as live.

Probably some joints and splicing work that needs to be done. What does the PON light on your router look like?

Update:

The splicing guys just came in. They said my area is active @MIKE ADRIANO. Just double check with your area as well. They said the ISP will send me details to log into the ONT by latest tomorrow morning
They will send you the WiFi user name and password, in the meantime if you have a lan cable you can hook up your laptop/PC to the ONT and test it out

I have a powerline adaptor that has a WiFi network as well. So I'm just using that as my WiFi network until I get details . My switch is handling distributing internet to my internet and TVs etc

That's the same cheap ass cables they put at my place. They like to skimp on cost. How'd you rate your installer on that sign off sheet? I guess 80% of that rating system would be ammended
I actually rated him highly because all those guys were pretty chill. Until I found out they screwed up

You can change them if you wish.

Please also disable remote management and disable the ONT from responding to ICMP over the internet. ;)

My man!

Also. I'm willing to run any tests you guys want as well. If anyone wants info on the process or any help. I'm more than willing to run network tests or provide help or advice.

So apparently the guys who did the install, broke the cable along the way as per Afrinatic. So a possible reinstall needs to take place.

Red los light flashing means no optic levels or too high levels. IF it was an activation issue the pon light will flash green.

I have logged the ticket for you and once I have more feedback I will revert back.
