Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

Oh, @MIKE ADRIANO. Did some ping tests on my PS5 yesterday.

R6 siege to ZA servers in JHB - 9 - 13ms Ping
Minecraft EU Realm Server - 180 Ping (While a download happening so subtract around 10ms)
BFV to ZA servers - 9 - 13ms Ping
CoD Cold War (I dont think there are dedicated servers) - 10 - 25ms Ping (managed to get an open NAT type with port forwarding). CoD servers died last night before I could jump to WarZone.

Any other games you want me to test?

What are you getting on bfv eu servers ?

Will test tonight and update. Downloaded BF4 as well to try out the ping to those servers

You are going to be impressed bud. What used to take a weekend to download on a 4Mb line now takes a couple hours.

I downloaded Doom for Xbox in under four hours, started the download last Sunday morning, then went to Gateway did the shopping paid some accounts, got back and the download was almost done.

I downloaded BF4 in 2 hours.

Blew my mind

I know this is VumaReach Phoenix, but which other infrastructure providers are in Phoenix?

I saw an ad in this weeks Rising Sun (page 21) placed by U2Tel, they are rolling out to Brookdale, Eastbury, Stanmore, Grove End - "coming in March and April" - are they partners with VumaReach that have been rolling our so far? Pricing for 40MBs is higher at R589.

This looks like Vuma Reach's product that they are reselling. Havent heard of this ISP before so I cant comment on customer service...

Ping update:

Did some tests to BF 4 ,BFV EU R6 Siege EU servers.

(did 5 network tests one after another)

BF4 EU
low - 176ms
high - 189ms

(looked at scoreboard for 10 seconds)

BFV EU
low - 175ms
high - 185ms

(looked at scoreboard for 10 seconds)

R6 Siege EU
low - 180ms
high - 185ms

No packet loss detected as well. Even though numbers are near LTE, the connection just felt better. BF4 almost felt like I was playing on local servers when I logged into high performance 45hz server. Ill redownload BF4 on my PC this weekend and try to find a 60hz server and update further

Brookdale is on the map so this U2Tel company needs to be investigated
